The challenge
The hotel has a convenient and secure underground parking lot for its guests, but managing a paper ticket-based parking system created a lot of burden on the employees. Ibis was looking for an effective solution for organizing parking so that employees could focus on serving customers and providing them with a better visitor experience instead of handling parking-related issues.
The solution
Hansab proposed Entringo’s ticketless parking system based on automatic vehicle numberplate recognition. The solution allows guests to park and pay at an automatic payment station. In order to better guide customers, Hansab installed entry and exit lane terminals and a free parking spaces display.
Result
According to Madis Laid, CEO of Ibis Tallinn Central Hotel, number recognition is faster and more accurate than they initially expected. “Customer feedback is good, the system is intuitive to use and understandable to employees as well. In addition, we pay a lot of attention to sustainability, and giving up paper tickets supports fulfilling our sustainability goals,” comments Laid.
