The Challenge

COOP is one of the leading retailers in Estonia. Their Kuressaare branch was looking for a way to manage the parking lot near their store.The central location of the COOP store means that the parking lot is often filled with cars that do not belong to the store’s customers. During the daytime, people use COOP’s parking lot to visit nearby offices, and in the summertime tourists used it as a base for their explorations. This created friction for customers wishing to do their shopping at COOP.

The Solution

Entringo was not the first system that COOP tried to solve this challenge. The previous system did not satisfy their needs as it required constant maintenance. Many of the technical sisues being ticket-related. In addition, COOP required the flexibility to integrate their shop system, which would allow them to offer discounts tocustomers that make a purchase at their store. We installed a full Entringo system with card payment options and the possibility to add cash payment option if needed.

The Result

Today COOP is able to enjoy much lower maintenance needs, in no small part because of the elimination of the paper ticket. Store customers can enjoy discounts and pay for their parking at one of the stations.
